Privacy policy

Effective June 2, 2026

We try to collect as little about you as possible, and we never sell it. This page explains, in plain language, what this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us and a real person will answer it.

Who we are

This website, anchorbyretentio.com, is operated by Retentio Group Inc., an American corporation that builds and runs Anchor by Retentio. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “Anchor,” it means Retentio Group Inc. We operate from the United States, and the information described here is processed in the United States.

This policy covers the website and the people who visit it or contact us. It does not cover the data your organization and your people provide inside the Anchor product itself, which is handled under your customer agreement and described on our Security page.

What we collect

We keep this short on purpose.

  • Information you give us. If you book a call or email us, we receive what you provide, like your name, work email, company, and anything you write to us. Booking happens on our scheduling provider’s page, HubSpot, so what you enter there reaches us through them.
  • Basic technical information. Like most websites, our host keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use this to keep the site running and secure.

That is the whole list. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or marketing cookies on this site.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not use analytics tools that profile you. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

When you click “Book a call,” you are taken to our scheduling provider’s page, which may use its own cookies to run the scheduler. That happens on their domain and under their privacy practices.

How we use what we collect

We use the information you give us to do the obvious things: reply to you, schedule and hold the call, and follow up about Anchor if it looks like a fit. We use technical logs to operate and protect the site.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. Full stop.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website and manage conversations. They process information on our behalf, not for their own marketing.

  • Vercel, which hosts the website.
  • HubSpot, which powers our scheduling page and stores your inquiry so we can follow up.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. We would push back on any request that overreached.

The Anchor product and your people’s data

When your organization uses the Anchor product, the rosters, survey responses, and personality assessments your people provide are handled under your customer agreement, not under this website policy.

The short version, described in full on our Security page: raw answers and personality responses are read only by the engine and are never shown to managers, the most sensitive fields are encrypted, and we do not sell or share that data. The firewall between what people share and what their manager sees is the foundation the whole product stands on.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us only as long as we need it to follow up with you and run the business, typically up to 24 months after our last contact, and for any longer period the law requires. When we no longer need it, or when you ask us to remove it, we remove it.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will take care of it. We will respond within 45 days, and if we need more time, we will tell you why.

If you live in California, Texas, or another place with specific privacy rights, those rights apply here. That includes the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, and the right not to have it sold, which is simple for us, because we do not sell it.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to the same email. We will review the appeal and respond within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general. For Texas, that is the Office of the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

We built Anchor to support these obligations, and we are glad to walk your team through the specifics.

Security

We protect what you share using encryption and strict access controls, and we hold the Anchor product to a higher standard still. The full picture of how we handle data, clearly separating what is true today from what is still on our roadmap, is on our Security page.

Children

This website and Anchor are meant for businesses and the people who run them. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will do more than quietly edit a line. We will make it easy to see.
